What can I do if my account is suspended?

Quick Answer

If your account got suspended don't worry just go to help and create a ticket by clicking on the chat icon at bottom right side of the page. Or mail us on [email protected], we will be glad to help you

Most likely, the reason you're reading this is that your account was just suspended. If your account is suspended, you won't be able to access your website, utilise FTP, or log into your control panel. The reason your account was suspended is the first thing you need to know if you want to know what to do next. There are three different categories of suspension.

Suspended on request or inactivity

Your account will be terminated if you used the client area's Deactivate Account option or if it hasn't been visited in 30 days.

It is quite simple to reactivate your account. Log in to your client area, select Manage next to the inactive account, and then select Reactivate.

Please take note that inactive accounts are eventually removed.

Suspended for hitting daily limits

Hostomo sets restrictions on how much processing power, memory, hits, and other resources an account can use every day to prevent certain accounts from utilising enormous amounts of server power and slowing down (or even completely taking down) other websites. Your account will be immediately suspended for 24 hours if you exceed one of those limits.

Please check the account in the client area to find out the specific limit you hit, what that restriction represents, and what you can do to cut back on your consumption.

Your account will be automatically reactivated following the 24 hours. Please don't request an early reactivation of your account because no one has the authority to do so.

Be aware that the reactivation may take up to 30 minutes to complete after 24 hours. If your website is still down at exactly 24:00:00, kindly refrain from submitting support tickets.

Suspended because of abuse

Hostomo employs a variety of techniques to find and stop potential misuse to stop our servers from being overloaded and being used for unlawful purposes. To find abuse, both manual and automatic techniques are used.

You can file a request to have personnel check your account even if you think it is secure. Your account will be reactivated if it is secure.

Reviewing your account entails:

  1. Login to your client area.

  2. Click the suspended account in the list.

  3. Click the button saying Submit Support Ticket.

  4. Select your domain, enter your message and click Submit Ticket.

Staff will check your account after you submit your request (usually within a few hours).

Please open support cases for each account you want to reactivate if many were suspended.
